According to the oral narratives passed down among our Anahuac cultures, it is mentioned that Quetzalcoatl, the god who came from the stars, brought them corn as a gift, and not only that, but also gave them the knowledge of agriculture. This serpent sculpture has a beautiful plumage on its body, within which three ears of corn are found. In its rattle, seven rings are observed, symbolizing the fullness of spirituality.
